flock好像还是0.5Preview版的时候试用了下，当时对它的收藏夹颇有微辞，所以就放弃了。而且当时Firefox+Performancing 就可以实现功能了。这次0.9带来更好的使用体验。说是0.9其实不是，是0.8.99.1。这老外都是什么奇怪的习惯，这个版本是基于FF2.0.4的。原来如果的算是based on Gecko，现在的就是customized firefox了。flcok的定位是个社会化的浏览器。如果说Flickr，del.icio.us，blog等就像一个个鲜艳又可口的水果，人见人爱。而Flock则像一个果篮，把苹果和梨子同时放进去了。

Theme

The Flock theme has been updated to enhance discoverability and notification while staying true to the original clean and simple look and feel.

Accounts & Services

Setting up accounts and services has moved from a series of dialog boxes to a sidebar making it much easier to configure accounts. We’ve also added discovery logic — just log in to any supported service as you normally would, and Flock will offer to activate its advanced supporting features.

Photos & Videos

The Media Minibar, formerly known as the photo bar, now provides fast access to view both photos and videos on Flickr, Photobucket, Youtube, and AOL’s Truveo. New controls and hover states have been added to enhance the media bar experience including a large photo display on mouse over and an easier UI for sharing, copying and viewing (check out the new Mini View viewer for watching videos!). Also, more controls have also been added to the uploader including the ability to act on a “batch” of photos.

Favorites

Ma.gnolia has been added as a favorites sharing service and Shadows has been dropped. Flock has also moved from an auto-sync’ing model to a publishing model, making it flexible and easier to implement other services. We brought back the folders too.

Blogging

The blog editor has continued to evolve with several usability improvements including integrating the Web Clipboard into the editor itself. Several more blogging services have been added as well including LiveJournal, Xanga, Blogger and Blogsome.

News

Speed, reliability and better integration.[via flock]

My World可以设置搜索引擎，默认的是雅虎。不过可以修改，我改成Google了^_^

还是雅虎，这个貌似不可以改，反正我没找到

帐号和服务，可以设置你的del.icio.us，flickr，Blogger等的账户

上传照片的窗体，可以选择上传到什么地方。貌似无视G.F.W，可以直接上传到flickr

博客的编辑工具，可以从flock中直接粘贴数据。如果是本地的图片，拖到里面的话，会自动给你上传

我FF下使用的扩展基本都能用，自由极个别的不能用，都是无关紧要的。在安装的时候那些没有声明与Flock兼容的插件都会被提问，不过没关系，确定就可以了。

当然flock还不是很完美的。我试用了一天发现的问题如下：

• 启动速度有点慢
• 不能去启动画面
• 收藏夹导入速度慢
• 导入收藏夹的时候，非英文字符都是乱码
• 导出的时候非英文字符还是乱码
• 收藏夹不支持右键排序
• 不支持post-slug
• 不支持UTW的tag

0.9测试版的已知问题：

+ Drag and Drop as well as cut & paste issues exist within the favorites and news sidebars that cause unpredictable behavior.
+ Renamed feeds can revert back to original name after feed update.
+ Importing Livemarks from Firefox does not work.
+ Privacy settings for Online Favorites may not be immediately displayed correctly in the Favorites property dialog.
+ Browser icon configuration is not saved when migrating from 0.7 to 0.9.
+ Dragging a video into the blog editor does not show up in the edit pane.
+ Several formatting inconsistencies when applying color and fonts to content in the blog editor.
+ Only one blog of a multi blog WordPress account can be configured in Flock.
+ Forgetting a Typepad account does not always log the user out.
+ Having multiple photo accounts with the same service such as Flickr can confuse the uploader.
+ At times the photomagic Flock icon that will appear on a photo or video that is part of a Flickr, Photobucket or YouTube stream may flicker or appear in the wrong place. It is possible for it even to appear in a different tab. To remove the photomagic icon in this case switch focus to another tab and then come back.
+ Viewing a person’s New Media in the media mini bar does not clear the person’s new media notification.
+ After migration from cardinal the same Flickr contact may be listed multiple times.
+ Occasionally the name of the stream being viewed is missing in the media bar.
+ Large photos may overflow the content area in the Photo Uploader.
